Richter Caddey are a seasoned musical duo whose partnership goes back to school-band days, when Chris and Peter first discovered their shared love of performance, harmony and stage presence. Over the years they have grown their sound and their reach – from local gigs in regional Queensland and NSW, to touring across Australia and even to Germany. Their friendship, forged in rehearsal rooms and small regional venues, brings a natural chemistry and authenticity to every show.

Chris Richter (based in Toowoomba, Queensland) brings his multi-instrumentalist skills – piano, guitar, arrangements – and years of songwriting and live experience to the collaboration. Peter Caddey (based in Inverell, New South Wales) brings his strong vocal presence, stage experience and ability to connect instantly with audiences. Together, they specialise in delivering a polished, versatile set that ranges from 80s classics (their signature niche) through to acoustic reinterpretations and heartfelt originals.

Their style is ideal for regional festivals, club nights, winery sessions, private functions and corporate events – combining professionalism and audience warmth, with a natural, non-pretentious stage manner. According to their Facebook page: “Specialising in 80s music, but with a diverse range of music to suit any occasion”.

They have also been noted appearing as guest performers at major community events in the Northern NSW/QLD region.
